Fans were happy to receive a second tweet that happened this weekend from 15-time major champion Tiger Woods. Woods last tweeted two weeks ago when he announced that he was back home from the hospital and continuing his recovery. “Happy to report that I am back home and continuing my recovery. I am so grateful for the outpouring of support and encouragement that I have received over the past few weeks”.

On Saturday night, the top golfer made his second public comment following his accident. Woods congratulated Tsubasa Kajitani, who won the Augusta National Women’s Amateur in a playoff.

“Congrats to Tsubasa Kajitani on winning the @anwagolf with an amazing playoff finish.
Enjoy the special moment, and good luck to all of the kids tomorrow in the @DriveChipPutt”, Woods said.

The week also gained an update about Tiger Woods’ SUV crash, as the Los Angeles County sheriff released a statement that said they have determined what caused the crash last month in Southern California but would not release details Wednesday, citing unspecified privacy concerns for the golf star.

The Augusta National Women’s Amateur is a golf tournament in Georgia, held at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta and Champions Retreat Golf Club in nearby Evans. The 54-hole stroke play event debuted in 2019.
