Local military and youth are invited to enjoy a day of free golf with PGA and LPGA Professional instruction, fun stations, activities and a Dennis Walters performance at Eisenhower Park, June 6 (Saturday), from 8:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
The Youth & Armed Forces Clinic is held in conjunction with the 2015 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship held June 11-14 at Westchester Country Club. Registration must be completed online by May 29: Click here to register.
Metropolitan PGA Section Professionals and local LPGA Professionals will provide group instruction, conduct friendly competition and discuss careers in golf in a fun, relaxed environment. Instruction will include full swing, chipping, putting, bunker play. Lunch will also be provided.
Prior to golf instruction, Dennis Walters will perform his trick-shot show for participants. Walters, who had dreams of successfully playing on the PGA Tour before an accident left him paralyzed from the waist down, vowed never to give up playing golf. Through his golf show, he delivers a mix of trick shots and life lessons alongside his canine companion, Bucky.
The Youth and Armed Forces Clinic is supported by PGA REACH, the charitable foundation of the PGA of America.
