June 5 – Day1:
Arrive at Jose Marti International Airport in Havana and transfer to 5* FOUR POINTS by SHERATON hotel for 2 nights, with Breakfast included.
Evening: INCLUDED TOUR: Anochecer en Mi Habana
Group pick-up at hotel, transport in an air-conditioned vehicle with English speaking guide to visit the historic center of Old Havana. Enjoy a leisurely walking tour by historic sites including 4 la Plazas: Plaza San Francisco de Asis, Plaza de Armas, Plaza de la Catedral and Plaza Vieja, during which the splendor of Havana during colonial times can be appreciated. Transfer to the Fortress of San Carlos de la Cabaña to enjoy the Ceremonia del Cañonazo at 9:00 p.m. followed by dinner at the emblematic restaurant La Bodeguita del Medio. Afterward, return transport to hotel.

Explore the various cultural religions of Cuba
From the Mamainé Café, we’ll travel to the township of Guanabacoa, the cradle of Afro Cuban culture. Once there, we will visit the local museum to learn about 3 Afro Cuban religions. Then, we will walk on the streets of the charming town gaining firsthand experiences of the lives of many Cubans. We will meet the famous Damian, a “Babalawo” of Santeria, at his altar, where we will witness a spiritual “cleanse” from him. Damian will explain how he looks into people’s future and gives advice based on what he sees. Additionally, we will enjoy some of the delicious typical foods cooked by neighbors of the community. We will end the day listening to relaxing music, played by Damian´s family, while we taste a cup of aguardiente, the beverage used in all Afro-Cuban religious practices, under the shadow of a sacred ceiba tree.

8:00 pm hotel pick-up in Havana and transfer to a local Paladar Restaurant for dinner. Afterward, transfer to Tropicana, the famous Cuban nightclub internationally renowned for the virtuosity of its dancers, its artistic directors, and skill of its cast, the performance is enjoyed in a “Paradise Under the Stars”. Its show has toured the leading capitals of the Caribbean, Europe and the Americas. The show also includes 1/4 bottle of rum at Havana Club + 1 soft drink + finger foods + 1 welcome drink. Only available to adults 18 years or older. A 5-hour cabaret and dinner program. Bus returns to hotel at approx. 1:30am.

Pick up at the hotel in air-conditioned vehicle with English speaking guide. Departure to the City of Matanzas where, along the way, scenic views of its bridges, university, the bay, Plaza de la Vigía, Liberty Park, Market Square. Visit the Pharmaceutical Museum of Matanzas and Hermitage of Monserrate from where you can enjoy the landscape of Valle de Yurumí. Next, departure to the Caves of Bellamar, the oldest tourist center in Cuba, declared a National Monument, for a Walking guided tour inside the cave with an expert guide who will describe the natural beauty of its creation and the stalactites and stalagmites. Return to Varadero.
