Dr. Clyde Henderson hit his 136 yard pitching wedge to achieve his 3rd hole-in-one. The event happened on September 28 on hole #3 at Stonelick Hills golf course in Batavia, Ohio. The Clermont County course is encompassed by serene landscape, filled with a wide variety of wildlife and scenic rolling hills.
Dr. Clyde Henderson retired April 2, 2018 at age 66 as an orthopaedic surgeon in Cincinnati (OH) and says that when he looks back on his 35-year career he is grateful for all the people who helped him along the way. He has played golf in all 50 states and on courses around the world, and, in 2019 he organized the inaugural “Nubian Open” playing with a group of friends in Antarctica (the white continent). He is hoping to play his final continent (Asia) soon.
“It’s interesting in that I played Glen Abby in Toronto when I was on my way to play New York and Pennsylvania, working on my 50 states trek,” Says Dr. Henderson.
Golfers of all all skill levels are challenged at every set of tees at Clermont CC and will appreciate the uniqueness of each hole requiring a variety of shots necessary to complete such a strategic layout.
