Atlanta, GA — September 2025 — Excel Youth Academy (EYA), a nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through golf and STEAM education, is proud to announce that its scholars have been invited to compete in this fall’s U.S. Kids Golf Tournaments. This marks a significant opportunity for junior golfers ages 5–14 to transition from exposure clinics into structured competition.

Tournament Schedule:

  • Sugar Creek Golf Course – September 20 | Registration deadline: September 15
  • Collins Hill Golf Course – October 4 | Registration deadline: September 29
  • Mystery Valley Golf Course – November 1 | Registration deadline: October 27

EYA will provide official tournament polos for all participants and cover entry fees for members who register by the deadlines. Competitors may enter 9-hole or 18-hole divisions. Players must bring their own clubs. Parents are equally excited to see their children step into this new level of golf, learning discipline, building friendships, and now having the chance to compete. That’s something many never imagined possible a few years ago.

Young golfers are also eager to test their skills, can’t wait to play in the tournament, and, are excited to wear the EYA polos while representing the academy. The academy expressed gratitude to PeachTree Collective and Make Golf Your Thing for their partnership in making tournament participation possible for its youth.

9 & Dine Charity Golf Tournament

In addition to tournament play, EYA will host its signature 9 & Dine Charity Golf Tournament on October 12 at Sugar Creek Golf Course. This community-driven event pairs golf with gourmet food and entertainment to raise funds for EYA programs.

Highlights include:

  • Nine holes of golf with food and beverage pairings on the course
  • Live music, raffles, and awards at the 19th hole
  • Farm-to-table dining by Chef India of Sauce Queen
  • Spectator tickets for non-golfers
  • Sponsorship opportunities for organizations seeking to support youth programs

“All proceeds go directly toward keeping our golf and STEAM programs affordable and accessible to underserved youth across Atlanta,” added [Executive Director’s Name].
