The PGA TOUR Champions is preparing for another action-packed season in 2027, announcing a 27-event schedule that will bring some of golf’s most accomplished senior professionals to premier courses across the United States and international destinations. The season will feature more than $70 million in prize money, with tournaments scheduled in 18 states and three other countries.
The new campaign opens in Hawaii in January, beginning with the inaugural Sony Championship Hawaii at Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, January 14–16. The tour then moves to the Big Island for the Mitsubishi Electric Championship at Hualalai, January 21–23. Both opening tournaments will feature Saturday finishes, setting an early-season rhythm for players and fans.
Florida hosts the Chubb Classic in Naples, February 12–14, celebrating the event’s 40th anniversary. March brings a busy stretch, including the James Hardie Pro Football Hall of Fame Invitational in Boca Raton, the Cologuard Classic in Tucson and the Hoag Senior Players Championship in Newport Beach, California. The Hoag event joins the senior major championship calendar in 2027.
Five senior majors will headline the season. Following the Hoag Senior Players Championship, the Senior PGA Championship returns to The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Florida, April 15–18. The Regions Tradition follows in Birmingham, Alabama, May 13–16. The U.S. Senior Open takes place July 1–4 at Oak Tree National in Edmond, Oklahoma, before the ISPS Handa Senior Open returns to Royal Porthcawl in Wales, July 22–25.
International competition continues the following week with the Portugal Invitational, hosted by Ernie Els at The Els Club Vilamoura, July 30–August 1. The tour also visits Canada for the Rogers Charity Classic in Calgary in August.
The regular season concludes in October, leading into the Charles Schwab Cup Playoffs. The Stifel Charity Classic in St. Louis opens the postseason October 22–24, followed by the Simmons Bank Championship in Little Rock, October 29–31. The season-ending Charles Schwab Cup Championship moves to Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, November 12–14.
Two Challenge Season events will close out the calendar: the Skechers World Champions Cup, December 2–5, and the PNC Championship in Orlando, December 18–19.
With a combination of established championships, new venues and international stops, the 2027 schedule promises a compelling season celebrating experienced players and competitive golf at the highest senior level.
