LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Ft. Worth/Dallas West extends heartfelt thanks to the community, partners, families, and supporters who continue to invest in the growth of junior girls golf across North Texas.
The program is preparing for two major upcoming events:
- November 21–22, 2026: Houston Girls Cup at Hermann Park Golf Course in Houston
- March 28–31, 2027: National Division I & II NCAA Collegiate Golf Championship at The Golf Club at Cinco Ranch in Katy, Texas
With community support, the following LPGA*USGA Ft. Worth/Dallas West jjunior golfers will travel to Houston to compete in the Houston Girls Cup: Kingston Burke, Malyn Edge, Brooklyn Wright, Olivia Wells, Rayla Mancone, Kyra Taylor, and Jade Warren.
“Every opportunity to train, compete, and connect helps these girls see how far their potential can take them,” said Gladys Lee. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who is helping make that journey possible.”
The organization also recognizes Juan Patlan, Head Professional at Prairie Lakes Golf Course, for providing juniors with a place to train and prepare for both competitive and recreational golf.
Special appreciation goes to Jason and Amy Linton for opening Back 9 Indoor Golf in North Arlington. Their climate-controlled facility has been an essential refuge during 100-degree summer weather, allowing junior golfers to continue training virtually on renowned courses across the country, including TPC Sawgrass and Pebble Beach.
LPGA Professionals Makalia Brown, Ashley Nicks, and Katie Harris, along with Diamonds on the Green, Queens on the Green, Elite Golf, and other junior golf organizations, are invited to unite through the DFW Texas Junior Girls Connection.
This collaboration will bring girls from junior programs together to attend events, build friendships, and strengthen the future of girls golf throughout the region.
