Mini-Tour Player

Hi Everyone,

My name is Anthony Miller and I’m psyched-up about getting on Tour! Right now, I play on the mini-tours and I am doing my best to stay on top. Most recently, I won the Tampa Bay Open, hosted by Futures Tour Player, Darlene Stowers in Tampa, Florida.

I have played on the Junior PGA Tour and I attended two diffrent Nike golf camps, one at Florida State–where I won their tournament with a 71 at the age of 14, and the other Nike golf camp at William and Mary College, where I won their tournament with 70.

In my high school years, I attended West Deptford High in New Jersey excelling as an All-Star golfer. While there, I received the Coaches Reward and was named MVP Player of the Year for all four years. My golfing skills improved tremendously during that time. I was a state champion and recognized as the best African American golfer in high school golf for the state of New Jersey.

I attended Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Fla., and my coach was Ms. Pepper Peete (pro golfer Calvin Peetes’ wife).

In 2008 I turned pro, becomming one of the top African American pro golfers in the country. I am focused on my goal to play 50 to 70 tournaments this year and, I anticipate getting on the PGA Tour for 2013.

I hope you enjoy my interviews, and hit me up with any advice that you may have. I would really appreciate it!
