Potomac Falls, VA (May 26, 2023) – LIV Golf has announced that their tournaments will now be available for streaming on the LIV Golf YouTube channel in the United States and international markets. This new offering complements the existing tune-in options through The CW and The CW App (U.S.), LIV Golf Plus, and various global broadcast partners.
Viewers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and South Korea can access pay-per-view and geo-fenced live stream options, while viewers in the United Kingdom, Italy, Japan, Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland can enjoy a free geo-fenced live stream. The live coverage on YouTube will commence this week with the LIV Golf DC tournament, taking place from May 26 to 28 at Trump National Golf Club in Potomac Falls, VA.
Will Staeger, LIV Golf Chief Media Officer, expressed excitement about expanding the availability of live coverage on YouTube, stating that it is another significant step towards making the groundbreaking competition accessible to viewers worldwide. The LIV Golf league boasts a stellar roster of world-class golfers, including major champions like Brooks Koepka, Cameron Smith, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau, and Sergio Garcia.
LIV Golf DC will be broadcast globally from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. ET on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Some regions will have access to free live coverage on the LIV Golf YouTube channel, depending on third-party partnerships in each respective territory. In the United States, rounds on Saturday and Sunday will be aired on The CW Network’s linear and digital platforms, as well as LIV Golf Plus, while Friday’s round will be available on The CW App and LIV Golf Plus.
