Manderville, Edward “Eddie” age 88, died November 19, 2020. He is survived by his wife, Lorraine, of 62 years; his daughter, Shauntel; and two grandsons. He worked as a building inspector for 20 years for the city of Minneapolis, and later served as the executive director of the Neighborhood Housing Services.
“Fast Eddie” began golfing at the age of 26 and became a golf legend in Minneapolis. He shattered the color barrier in Minnesota golf and competed in most of the Minnesota Golf Association‘s golf championships over the past 50 years, including the US Senior Open and Senior Amateur. Eddie had eleven holes in one, two of which he hit back to back at Theodore Wirth Par Three Golf Course on August 9, 2013, an event with odds of less than 67 million to one.
