Ladies and Gentlemen of the Pioneer Golf Family and general Golf Community, as previously stated by Mr. Jessie Brooks, the Pioneer Golf Tournament has officially ended after 18 years: I would like to end things on a high note this June 2022.
I feel we had a good run and all of your support made it a success for both of us. It has been a joy to watch the growth of Clearview Golf Course over the 18 years. I am planning to host one more year as a “Finale” Tournament to close out our adventures, trials, tribulations, successes, and fun experiences over those cherished years together. This will not be the traditional Tournament but rather a Pioneer Finale golf Outing as a farewell gathering.
The outing will run similar to the tournament you are used to but, in some ways, different. I hope we can finish this outing in the New Facility being built this spring. The intent was to expose and support Clearview Golf Course to/for as many golfers that were unaware of the historical significance and beauty it represented.
Seventy-plus years creates changes in all of us, hopefully, the future generations of our golfers will see and visit this awesome course, value it as we have and “Pay it Forward”.
Hope to see as many of you in June as possible whether you’re still swinging or not.
