You have to strategize a lot.” He says. Although, he adds that making good shots get his spirits up–his prime challenge is achieving the perfect swing and getting his golf handicap down. It is currently 17.
Outside of the golf course Johnny is an Operations Supervisor, employed with Con-way freight. He stays active in his community and is a past member of Twin City Golf Association of Monroe, Louisiana.
Johnny takes time to be of service to others and also mentors young males, passionately speaking to them about what it means to be a “man”, being responsible for oneself and society, and how to be a gentleman too the young ladies.
“It’s important for us to show our young people the way.” “Our youth is our hope for the future and we have to give them the love and knowledge that we have to help them survive and succeed in today’s world,” he says.
