“Participating in the sport of golf provides valuable opportunities for young people to become leaders both on and off the course. By pairing STEM education with golf, young people can develop numerous skills,” expressed Quincy Leonard, founder of LEO Golf Academy.

“I am proud to partner with Golf. My Future. My Game. and all the middle schools in the Montgomery area. This will give students exposure to this great game and hopefully pique their interest to make golf a career and give access to opportunity today and in the future.”

Educational Focus:

The initiative is not just about golf; it’s a comprehensive 8-week program integrating STEM, Reading, and Critical Thinking skills. Supported by the Montgomery Public Schools Board of Education, the program seeks to foster academic growth while instilling a passion for golf.

Strategic Alliance:

In collaboration with the LEO Golf Academy and Golf. My Future. My Game., the initiative aims to create strategic alliances for education and career development in the sport. The objective is to provide a unique platform for youth to understand the tradition of the game while emphasizing that golf is an industry where they can thrive.

Motivation and Goal:

Motivated by the need to diversify the sport and its associated industries, the initiative challenges the perception of golf as a game reserved for the elite. The goal is to offer early exposure to the golf industry through an innovative, immersive program, nurturing the next generation of professional and industry leaders.

Recruitment Process:

The program targets (20) Middle School Students in the Montgomery Area. The recruitment process involves interviews conducted by leaders from the LEO Golf Academy and Golf. My Future. My Game., ensuring a diverse group of participants.
