First Place Men (57): REWS Team with Willie Williams, BN Scott, James Redmon, Lydell Eason

On behalf of the Midlands Baptist Association‘s Moderator Pastor BN Scott, MBA Pastors and the Golf Steering Committee, thank you for your support of our 13th Annual MBA Charity Golf Tournament that took place on Monday, August 30th at Oak Hills Golf Course. What a delightful time we had on a typical “dog day of August” on the greens and under the Big Tent!!

There were many “firsts” this year:  The event took place in August–not March; online, contactless registration offered; five Ladies Teams played; customized MBA golf balls compliments of Master’s Touch Massage Therapy and TPS Services, LLC; black sling golf bags & purple visors given and SC Golf Pro Kevin Lyles of First Tee of Columbia joined us on Hole 18.

We also adhered to CDC guidelines for safety and had a great time!!   Shout outs to The Friendly Caterer for the delicious hot meal in to-go trays and Kendrick R. Chiles of Picture Perfect Portraits by Chiles & Chiles Studio for carrying on his father’s legacy of Team Photos.  We are grateful for our Hole-In-One, beverage and breakfast sponsors as well as our hole sponsors!!

CONGRATULATIONS to our winning teams!

We look forward to seeing you in the Spring.  And again thank you for helping to eliminate Hunger and Homelessness in the Midlands with your presence and donations.  It’s not too late to contribute!!  Click here:  https://midlandsbaptist.com/updates-activities/
