Prepare your mind for a great golf experience at the Iberostate Bavaro Golf Club in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. This is an inland course located in the Iberostate residential development inside the Iberostar Resort complex.
A friendly, full service and a well-stocked pro shop will great you at check-in. Designer P.B. Dye has transformed a naturally flat landscape into a challenging course of elevated terrain with swales and mounding, 105 of his signature sand bunkers, lakes and extensive use of rock work.
The best part of playing this lovely course is that all of the staff will treat you like royalty on, and off, the golf course. Freely warm up for your round at the course’s driving range. Expect the weather in late August to be very hot. But, the staff will keep you well chilled and cooled off, by providing cooling towels if you simply request one from the refreshment cart that circles the course continuously. Like I said, service at this course is outstanding.
The lush landscaping features many trees and palms, and includes roughs with native grasses.
