ST. LOUIS, September 18, 2025 The Daugherty Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Daugherty Enterprises, and the Advocates Professional Golf Association (APGA) Tour are proud to announce the 2025 APGA Daugherty Foundation Championship, to be held at the historic Glen Echo Country Club from September 30 to October 2, with a Kickoff Celebration the evening of September 29. The week’s main event, a two-day professional men’s tournament, will be complemented by a women’s tournament and a youth clinic and dinner, all aimed at fostering community engagement and promoting diversity in golf.

The APGA Tour was established in 2010 as a non-profit organization with the mission to bring greater diversity to the game of golf. The tour provides a platform for golfers to compete and hone their skills, preparing them for the highest levels of professional golf. The St. Louis community is invited to watch the professionals compete.

“We are thrilled to continue our partnership with the APGA Tour to not only keep this championship in St. Louis but make it even more impactful both for the players and for St. Louis. This event is about more than just a golf tournament; it’s about investing in the next generation, creating inclusive opportunities, and supporting the incredible talent of athletes from diverse backgrounds,” said Ron Daugherty, Founder and CEO of Daugherty Enterprises.

The championship week will feature the main 36-hole men’s tournament on Wednesday, October 1, and Thursday, October 2. Concurrently, a special women’s tournament will take place on Wednesday morning. Later Wednesday afternoon, APGA Tour professionals will host a youth clinic, providing hands-on instruction and mentorship to local students.

“We welcome the community to watch talented APGA male and female athletes compete, and to watch the fun of over 100 area youth working with these APGA professionals to learn golf basics in the clinic,” added Daugherty.
