It was another great party with a purpose for this year’s Tiger Jam. Presented by DraftKings, the full-scale, fun-packed, 2-day event brought out the best in guests and entertainment in the name of charity. Produced to support youth from under-resourced communities, Tiger Jam has become a staple, must-attend annual event for more than 20-years.
Guests were treated to a lively time in true form with resounding moments on the golf course, poker tables and a vegas-style concert hall.
Highlighting the experience were two graduates of TGR Foundation’s Earl Woods Scholar Program. Chiamaka “Chia” Obilo and Adrian Arias had previously shared their stories of personal growth at Tiger Jam and returned in 2022 to provide updates on their success. Chia, a Harvard graduate, will be attending medical school this coming fall while Adrian has made history as the first Earl Woods Scholar to receive a JD.—he is currently a practicing lawyer.
This was the first year where DraftKings served as the presenting sponsor of Tiger Jam. The golf event, held at Shadow Creek, satisfied participants with a closest to the pin contest and a bullseye challenge. Pumping up the great time was Phat Scooters and Worldwide Golf Shops who helped enhance the on-course experience. Even with all of this excitement, Tiger Jam guests were presented with a very special exhibition and target competition on the North Las Vegas Shadow Creek driving range featuring Tiger Woods and Collin Morikawa.
At the event’s charity poker night guests had the opportunity to put it all on the line. In partnership with the World Poker Tour, professional poker players and Tiger Jam guests had a good reason to let the cards fly at Whisky Down. The proceeds are going to benefit students supported through TGR Foundation.
The highlight evening of Tiger Jam culminated on Saturday where a fabulous charity auction and guests attending the Lady Gaga Jazz and Piano show at Dolby Live. Once again, TGR Foundation showcased a non-stop party to support its worthy mission and gain resources to empower students to pursue their passions through education.
