The idyllic setting of The Oaks Club at Valencia played host to an inspiring day of golf, entertainment, and community unity during the fourth annual Bobbi Kristina Serenity House Celebrity Golf Tournament. Esteemed singer and entertainer, Bobby Brown, and his entrepreneurial wife, Alicia Etheredge-Brown, took the helm as hosts of this remarkable event, which unfolded on October 9, 2023, at 26550 Heritage View Lane, Valencia, California.

A constellation of celebrities and luminaries from the entertainment industry graced the event with their presence. The likes of Johnny Gill from New Edition, actors Anthony Anderson, Flex Alexander, Dondre’ Whitfield, Judge Greg Mathis, and comedian Alex Thomas lent their star power in support of a cause that transcends the spotlight.

The Bobbi Kristina Serenity House, conceived in 2015 by Bobby Brown, is a non-profit Domestic Violence Safe Haven. It was born out of a father’s love for his daughter, a victim of domestic violence. This profound endeavor is dedicated to ending the scourge of domestic violence and creating a safer, more loving world for all.

As Bobby Brown aptly put it, “We are one step closer to a world free from domestic violence,” while Alicia Etheredge-Brown emphasized, “Together, we can create a safer, more loving world for everyone.”

The day commenced with an array of putting and chipping contests during registration, giving participants a platform to flaunt their golfing skills and compete for enticing prizes.

The heart of the event was the tournament itself, following these engaging contests. It adopted a traditional four-player scramble format, where participants had the opportunity to shine on the splendid Oaks Club course. As they traversed the course, on-course contests and raffles infused an element of friendly competition and excitement into the day.

After the tournament, all attendees converged at The Oaks Club for a vibrant BBQ luncheon, raffle, and silent auction. This gathering served as a nexus for networking and camaraderie among participants, sponsors, and community members. Here, the victorious players and contest winners received their well-deserved recognition.

Beyond golf and competition, the event unfolded an array of activities to enhance the overall experience. A wellness lounge provided moments of relaxation and rejuvenation, offering chair massages, pulsed electromagnetic field therapy, LED light therapy, compression therapy, brain taps, body scans, and facials.

For those in need of a refreshing break, an oxygen bar stood ready, and luxurious cigars added an air of sophistication to the occasion. The hookah lounge provided a serene environment for those seeking relaxation. To ensure an opulent and pampered experience for all, an on-course masseuse was on hand, offering rejuvenating massages. Families were not left out, with a family fun day that featured a mechanical bull, face painting, mini golf games, and more, encouraging participants to bring their loved ones for a day of entertainment and bonding.

The mission of the Bobbi Kristina Serenity House extends far beyond a golf tournament. It is a relentless pursuit of empowerment, emphasizing the intrinsic power that resides within individuals, transcending the need for external validation. The organization aspires to be the voice for the voiceless, leaving an indelible mark in the fight against domestic abuse.

The Bobbi Kristina Serenity House extends a heartfelt invitation for all to join them in their unwavering quest for a world free from domestic violence.
