We are deeply saddened to announce the death of golf instructor Buddy Cooper who lost his battle with cancer early Sunday morning, March 11, 2018 in New York.
Having served as the Director of Instruction for more than 9 years at the Bronx Golf Center in Bronx, New York, Buddy enjoyed more than 20-years as a golf professional.
Starting in the business in Philadelphia, PA at the historic Cobb’s Creek Golf Club, Buddy was a former PGA of America member, teaching at both the Fairview Golf Center in Elmsford, NY and at Marine Park Golf Course in Brooklyn, NY. He also served as Head Professional at the historic Freeway Golf Course in Sicklerville, NJ. His stellar credentials include running his own enterprise, Buddy Cooper Golf, and serving as an instructor at the prestigious Jim McLean Golf Academy at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
