April 20, 2020 — It’s official, the women’s tour announced Friday the Senior LPGA Championship has been canceled. The LPGA cited the continuous impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the word as the reason for the cancellation. The Senior LPGA was scheduled to be played July 30-Aug. 1 at French Lick (Ind.) Resort’s Pete Dye Course. The tournament, part of the Legends Tour, made its debut in 2017 as the LPGA’s premier event for players 45 and older.
