“Farmers and CEO Jeff Dailey have been trailblazers in their support of the APGA Tour and our growth since our Tour began,” said APGA Tour CEO Ken Bentley. “This has been a landmark year for the APGA Tour and the 2022 APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Fall Series will be a fitting conclusion to the season.”

The APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Fall Series will also feature a $20,000 bonus pool that pays an additional $10,000 to the player who is awarded the most points from each of the four events. Additionally, the top three players from APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Fall Series who are not already qualified will be invited to play in the 2023 APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Invitational®, an APGA Tour event that is played opposite the PGA TOUR’s Farmers Insurance Open® at Torrey Pines Golf Course. The top six players in the Lexus Cup standings, which were finalized following the APGA Mastercard Tour Championship, have already qualified for the 2023 APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Invitational. These qualifiers, along with Quinn Riley who qualified as the top player in the 2021-2022 APGA Collegiate Rankings include:

The victory was Johnson’s second of the 2022 APGA Tour season as he also defended his title at TPC Las Vegas. O’Neal, winner of the 2021 Lexus Cup, the 2020 APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Invitational and runner-up at last year’s event, is one of the most tenured and accomplished players on the APGA Tour.  O’Neal also won twice on the APGA Tour this year with wins at TPC Harding Park and Port St. Lucie. Mack, also a Farmers Brand Ambassador, finished 3rd in the Lexus Cup standings despite sitting out for several weeks with injury. Mack won twice on the APGA Tour this season with both victories coming in Jacksonville, Florida, at the APGA Tour Queens Harbor and at TPC Sawgrass. Finishing out the top six are Herrera, Byrd and Augustus.

Sponsoring the APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Fall Series is part of several actions and initiatives that Farmers® has taken to help advance its commitment to diversity and growth in the game of golf. The national insurer has provided funding for APGA TOUR events and the organization’s athletes, sponsored players including Kamaiu Johnson and Willie Mack III, hosted the first-ever APGA event at a PGA TOUR tournament at the 2020 Farmers Insurance Open, provided Mack with a sponsor’s exemption into the 2021 Farmers Insurance Open, and provided Johnson and Alford with sponsor’s exemptions into the 2022 Farmers Insurance Open. This support led to a landmark moment for the APGA Tour as the 2022 APGA Tour Farmers Insurance Invitational was the first-ever APGA Tour event to be broadcast on national television with the final round airing on Golf Channel.
