In a unique collaboration between the Ladies Tee Golf Chapter and the motorcycle community, the first annual MC/SC’s Meet Golf 2022 Food Drive event took place in St. Louis, MO. The brainchild of Mary McCray (Lady Cynnamin) and BQ MC (Ryzing Sonz), this event aimed to support local food banks while promoting diversity in the game of golf. McCray serves as Director of LPGA/USGA Girls Golf of St. Louis Metropolitan.

Recognizing the need for food donations in their community, Lady Cynnamin and BQ MC devised a plan to engage the biker community in a fun and charitable activity. They envisioned bikers playing golf in their comfortable set attire, combining their love for riding with a new experience on the golf course. With the help of SC Smylee, mis Red Velvet, and other enthusiastic supporters, they organized the event in less than 30 days.

The response from the bike community was overwhelming, and the first annual event was a resounding success. Monetary and can food donations poured in, benefitting two food banks in Missouri and one in Illinois. The organizers were proud to have made a positive impact in such a short span of time, recognizing the global need for food assistance and the importance of community support. “The event is important because there are so many people struggling to put food on the table related to hard times or homeless,” said McCray whose efforts donated to 3 organizations: The Salvation Army Food Bank/IL, Mobile Food Truck (walk on and shop free), and Better Family Life in St. Louis.
