JOINS AFRICAN AMERICAN GOLFER’S DIGEST
AS MONTHLY BLOGGER
New York, N.Y. (July 9, 2010) – LPGA Professional Teacher & Coach, Gladys M. Lee has joined the African American Golfer’s Digest online portal, becoming part of its team of talented bloggers.
Lee, is Founder and Executive Director of the Dallas, T.X.-based Roaring Lambs International Junior Golf Academy, an organization that was established in 1986 as a charitable and educational entity, dedicated to encouraging the participation of multi-racial, inner-city youth in junior golf activities. The organization operates year round, providing instruction and play for beginners, intermediate and advanced students. It has been the programs mission to use golf as a means of instilling self-discipline, honesty, commitment, integrity and proper manners in youth.

Lee has over twenty-five years of experience in improving the lives of young people through the game of golf and she has taught golf at Twin wells Golf Course in Irving Texas, and at the Jim McLean Practice Range in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior, Lee worked for over twenty years in the aerospace industry, in a broad range of manufacturing operations, inventory control and procurement, and quality control with firms including Lockheed Aircraft, Northrop Electronics Division, Perkins Research, Litton Data Systems, Thompson Ramed Woolrich /TRW, Texas Instruments and General Dynamics. Lee also worked as a production coordinator for Dick Clark Productions (American Bandstand) in Burbank, Calif. where Carrie Clark (Dick’s wife) encouraged and introduced her to learn and pursue a new level of golf and the concept of “Golf is More Than A Game.”
