The National Black College Alumni Hall of Fame Foundation, in partnership with the Black College Golf Coaches Association, proudly hosted the 2024 Thomas W. Dortch Jr. HBCU Golf Classic at Stone Mountain Golf Club in Stone Mountain, Georgia, from September 22-24, 2024.

As part of the prestigious Hall of Fame Weekend, this event featured top collegiate golfers from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) competing on the scenic and challenging courses of Stone Mountain. The tournament saw fierce competition across Division I, Division II, and Women’s divisions. In the Division I Men’s category, the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff emerged as the top team, with standout performances by Jules De Reu, who claimed the individual title, followed by teammate Timur Alalin in second place and Max Osten from Maryland Eastern Shore securing third. Livingstone College dominated the Division II Men’s division, securing the team title.

Robert Johnson from Kentucky State University claimed first place among individual medalists, while Ibrahim Aliga from Livingstone College placed second, and Maximiliano Dufey from Kentucky State University rounded out the top three.

The Women’s Division saw North Carolina Central University take home the team title, with stellar individual performances by Claudia Hofmeister from Delaware State, who secured first place, followed by Mya Smith from North Carolina Central in second, and Lucia Pantogozo from Tennessee State in third.

Division I Men
•1st Place Team: University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff
•Top Three Medalists:
1st Place – Jules De Reu (Arkansas-Pine Bluff)
2nd Place – Timur Alalin (Arkansas-Pine Bluff)
3rd Place – Max Osten (Maryland Eastern Shore)

Division II Men
•1st Place Team: Livingstone College
•Top Three Medalists:
1st Place – Robert Johnson (Kentucky State University)
2nd Place – Ibrahim Aliga (Livingstone College)
