The Eastside Golf brand, co-founded by entrepreneur and former collegiate golfer Olajuwon Ajanaku, continues to redefine the intersection of golf, culture, and fashion by creating a lifestyle brand that blends authenticity, confidence, and accessibility for a new generation of players.
A Morehouse College graduate and former NCAA golfer, Olajuwon Ajanaku launched Eastside Golf in 2019 alongside fellow alumnus Earl A. Cooper. The brand was born out of a desire to break down barriers within the sport—particularly for African Americans and underrepresented communities. Their signature logo—a golfer swinging in jeans, a sweatshirt, and a gold chain—has become a symbol of individuality and inclusion in a sport long associated with exclusivity.
Since its inception, Eastside Golf has collaborated with leading brands such as Nike and Jordan Brand, infusing streetwear energy into traditional golf apparel. The company has also been featured in major publications and supported by professional athletes and entertainers who connect with its mission of empowerment and representation. Speaking about the company’s purpose, Ajanaku said, “Eastside Golf isn’t just about clothing—it’s about creating a movement that allows people to bring their full selves to the game. We’re showing the world that golf belongs to everyone.”

In addition to apparel, Eastside Golf supports youth mentorship and access to the sport. They have partnered with Camp HBCYouth, an educational summer initiative based on HBCU campuses that engages children through hands-on experience and scholarship opportunities, using golf as a tool for exposure and growth. Camp HBCYouth works with young learners starting at pre-K through grade 5, offering $100,000 in scholarships for eligible participants and teaming with organizations like Amazon Access to expand its reach.
The influence of Eastside Golf and Camp HBCYouth continues to grow both on and off the course—fostering a new era of golfers who embrace authenticity, community, and opportunity. For more information, visit www.eastsidegolf.com or contact info@eastsidegolf.com.
