A Perfect Swing Foundation has launched its end-of-year campaign with an inspiring goal: to raise $25,000 in support of its young golfers across the Carolinas. The initiative, titled Swinging for Success, continues the organization’s long-standing commitment to empowering youth—particularly those from underserved communities—through the life-changing game of golf.
Founded by LPGA Professional Ashaunta A. Epps, A Perfect Swing Foundation (APSF) focuses on youth development by introducing young people to a sport that teaches far more than proper grip, posture, and swing mechanics. For APSF participants, golf becomes a gateway to critical life skills such as leadership, communication, discipline, and effective networking. Its low-impact, accessible nature offers a welcoming and confidence-building environment where young people can stay active, learn, and grow.
This year, APSF celebrates the generosity of members, donors, and its dedicated Youth Boosters, who have already contributed an impressive $32,000. The organization now aims to raise an additional $25,000 by December 31, ensuring that nearly 100 youth served annually can continue to benefit from coaching, equipment, educational experiences, and community support.
Donations directly fuel core program needs. A $50 gift supports the Coach’s Corner, helping bring in professional instructors who mentor and motivate young players. A $100 contribution funds the Tee It Up initiative, which covers essential golf items such as shoes, gloves, shirts, bags, and clubs, along with meals, green fees, and transportation. The Drive for Success level, at $250, enables youth participation in APSF’s 2026 Golf & Networking Weekend—an opportunity that gives young golfers meaningful exposure both on and off the course. For donors wishing to make a broader impact, a $500 gift supports Expand the Course, helping the organization grow its programs, including enhancing its Pee Dee chapter in Kingstree, South Carolina.
Supporters can contribute in several ways: by donating through the APSF website, by giving through a Donor Advised Fund or estate plan, or by becoming a Youth Booster. Youth Boosters commit $100 annually to help cover golf gear, fees, and transportation, and are recognized each year during the Foundation’s Annual Membership Celebration. Donations may also be mailed directly to A Perfect Swing Foundation, PO Box 38091, Charlotte, NC 28278.
All year-end gifts are tax-deductible. A Perfect Swing Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (Tax ID: 47-1925614), ensuring that contributions benefit both the donor and the youth who rely on the program.
With its continued focus on opportunity, mentorship, and personal development, A Perfect Swing Foundation remains dedicated to shaping the next generation of golfers. Through community support and collective generosity, APSF is driving its mission forward—one young golfer at a time.
