African American Golf EXPO & Forum Offers Fundraising Opportunity for Community Organizations

by AAGD Staff

Community organizations across the country have a new opportunity to raise funds while helping members and supporters participate in one of golf’s most influential gatherings. The African American Golf EXPO & Forum is offering a fundraising program that allows organizations to earn revenue by promoting attendance at the event, scheduled for January 24–28, 2027, in Orlando, Florida.

Founded by golf industry executive and diversity advocate Jim Beatty, the African American Golf EXPO & Forum was created to increase awareness, participation, and business opportunities for African Americans and other underrepresented groups in the golf industry. Since its launch, the EXPO has become a leading platform for networking, education, career development, tourism, entrepreneurship, and golf-related business opportunities.

The 2027 event will once again be held in conjunction with the annual PGA Show, providing attendees with access to one of the golf industry’s largest gatherings. Participants in the EXPO will also be submitted to receive credentials to attend the PGA Show, creating additional opportunities for networking and professional development.

Under the fundraising program, community organizations simply promote the EXPO through their websites, social media platforms, newsletters, and membership communications. Each participating organization receives a unique promotional code to share with supporters.

Individuals who register using the organization’s code receive a $10 discount off the regular $99 registration fee. In return, the organization earns $40 for every registration completed through its code.

The program requires no upfront investment and no financial commitment from participating organizations.

The fundraising potential can be substantial:

• 10 registrations generate $400
• 20 registrations generate $800
• 50 registrations generate $2,000
• 100 registrations generate $4,000

Organizers believe the initiative creates a win-win opportunity by helping community groups generate revenue while introducing more people to the game of golf and the opportunities available through the African American Golf EXPO & Forum.

Organizations interested in participating are encouraged to enroll early and begin promoting the event to maximize their fundraising potential.
