Book authors looking to connect with readers, golfers, and industry professionals will have a special opportunity at the 2027 African American Golf EXPO & Forum. Presented by Jim Beatty Golf Ventures, the event runs January 24–28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, alongside the PGA Show, the world’s largest annual trade gathering for the business of golf. Authors can choose an individual exhibit option or a shared table with up to 3 other authors during the two-day EXPO.
The individual author exhibit is designed to provide visibility across the event’s schedule. For the standard rate of $2,000, authors can display their books at the Clinic/Social (January 24), the Jim Beatty Scramble (January 26), and the AAGolf EXPO (January 27 & 28). At the EXPO, each author will receive a six-foot table for presenting books and engaging with attendees.
A limited-time special reduces the individual exhibit price to $1,500 through October 31, 2026. The offer gives authors a chance to plan early and take part in more than the main EXPO days. By appearing at the Clinic/Social and Scramble as well, authors can introduce their work in different settings and meet people throughout the event.
Authors who prefer a lower-cost option can share a six-foot table with up to three other authors. The shared-table option costs $500 per author and includes display space during the EXPO on January 27 and 28. Sharing allows authors to participate without reserving an individual exhibit, while placing their books before attendees gathered for the forum and exhibition.
For authors, an in-person event can make a book more than a title on a shelf. It creates opportunities to talk about the story behind the work, answer questions, sign copies, and build relationships with readers. At a golf-focused gathering, books may also spark conversations across the game’s history, instruction, culture, business, and personal stories. Authors can use their exhibit to make their work discoverable to people who share an interest in golf and its community.
The event’s multi-day structure offers a choice between a broader presence across several activities and a focused appearance during the EXPO itself. Authors can consider their goals, schedule, and budget when selecting the individual or shared arrangement. The early special price makes the individual option more accessible for those who want to display at the Clinic/Social, Scramble, and EXPO.
