May 3, 2020 — The Metro New York Chapter of the National Black MBA Association  (NYBLACKMBA) continues its weekly digital series as part of its mission to lead in the creation of economic and intellectual wealth for the Metro New York African American Community. 

The featured presenter for the Free Live Webinar, Monday, May 4, 6PM (ET) is James “Jim” Beatty, Executive Editor, African American Golfer’s Digest and Founder of NCS International, an Omaha, Nebraska-based company that providers of an array of economic development services. Beatty also serves on the WE ARE GOLF Diversity Task Force and recently launched Jim Beatty Golf Ventures, a golf promotion and management company.

“I am honored and excited to participate with the NY Black MBA chapter. This will provide an ideal opportunity to discuss the issues and opportunities in the sport and the business of golf. I will also talk about the First Annual African American Golf Expo which will be held in Atlanta in February of 2021,” says Beatty who is spearheading the highly-anticipated effort.

 

Participants will learn about the $84.1B economic impact of Golf, including partnerships, travel and tourism, media & marketing, supplier diversity, and career opportunities in the golf industry, and more.
