On June 25, 2023, Carolyn Suttles, a valued member of Desert Mashie Golf Club, received a prestigious honor as she was inducted into the Western States Golf Associations Hall of Fame. The esteemed ceremony took place in Reno, Nevada, where Carolyn’s remarkable contributions to the sport of golf and her dedicated service to the organization were celebrated.

The Western States Golf Association, established in 1954, brings together golf clubs from four states along the west coast of the United States, including Arizona, California, Colorado, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, and Washington. Having served as the past president of Desert Mashie Golf Club in Arizona for an impressive five years, her dedication did not stop there. For the past 18 years, Carolyn has been an integral part of the Western States board, contributing her expertise and passion to the organization’s growth and success. Presently, she holds the esteemed position of Area Vice President for the Arizona, Colorado, and Texas region, further solidifying her impact and leadership within the golfing community.
