DOANE UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES SCHOLARSHIPS IN SUPPORT OF THE AFRICAN AMERICAN GOLF EXPO AND FORUM, APPLICANTS URGED TO SIGN UP AT ONSITE BOOTH

by AAGD Staff

Doane University is proud to support the African American Golf Expo and Forum being held Aug. 19 -22 in Louisville, KY and our great alumnus, James Beatty, the EXPO organizer and founder, by offering two half-tuition scholarships to attend Doane University in Crete, Nebraska. Doane’s men’s golf team recently won the GPAC conference and qualified for the NAIA national championships. The women’s golf team is climbing up the ranks quickly, and Doane’s new women’s coach, Jim Danson, comes from a very successful high school career, winning 14 state titles with his teams.

Stop by the Doane booth and exhibit to meet, Tom Benninghoff, a member of the Doane men’s team, and sign up for this scholarship. The only other requirement to receive this award is to be accepted for admission at Doane University.
