The 7th annual Paine College golf tournament on Monday, August 31, 2015, at Jones Creek Golf Club. Proceeds support the golf program and scholarships. We are seeking players and tournament sponsors. This is a great opportunity for you and your organization to receive exposure and help to support a worthy cause. Your support will help to increase the visibility of our impressive golf program. Senior PGA Tour Player Jim Dent is Honorary Chair.
The Paine golf program is one of the most successful golf programs in the Southeast. In 2012, the team won the Southern Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (SIAC) Golf Classic. The Lions successfully closed out the 2013 as back-to-back Conference Golf Champions. In 2014, team member Jerrell Hubbard represented the Lions in the 28th Annual PGA Minority Collegiate Golf Championship held May 9th-11th at the PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Your registration fee includes brunch along with various competitions held in conjunction with the tournament for prizes, including hole-in-one, longest drive and closest to the pin contests. Following the tournament, there will be an awards ceremony and recognition dinner. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2015, followed by a shotgun start at 10 a.m.
