Women looking to begin or continue their golf journey this summer will have a unique opportunity to learn from one of Texas’ most respected golf instructors. LPGA/PGA Professional Coach Gladys Lee is once again hosting her popular six-week women’s golf clinics at Texas 9 Golf Course in Fort Worth, Texas, offering participants a welcoming environment to build skills, confidence, and lasting friendships through the game of golf.

The clinics will begin during the weeks of June 6, July 11, and August 22, and will take place from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Texas 9 Golf Course, located at 8940 Creek Run Road in Fort Worth. Designed specifically for adult women, the program welcomes beginners as well as those looking to sharpen their existing skills.

Coach Gladys Lee has dedicated much of her professional career to growing the game among women, youth, and underserved communities. A respected LPGA and PGA Professional, Lee is widely recognized for her passion for mentorship and player development. She is the Founder and Executive Director of the Roaring Lambs International Junior Golf Academy, a program that has introduced thousands of young people to golf while teaching leadership, discipline, and life skills.

Over the years, Lee has become known not only for her technical instruction but also for her encouraging teaching style that helps newcomers feel comfortable learning the game. Her programs emphasize confidence-building, golf etiquette, sportsmanship, and personal growth alongside swing fundamentals. Through her efforts, many students have gone on to compete in tournaments, earn scholarships, and develop lifelong relationships with the sport.

The benefits of participating in golf clinics extend far beyond improving a golf swing. Golf is a sport that promotes physical activity, mental focus, patience, and strategic thinking. Participants in the clinics will learn core golf fundamentals such as putting, chipping, pitching, full swing mechanics, and course management while also gaining a deeper understanding of golf etiquette and rules.

For many women, the clinics also provide valuable networking and social opportunities. Golf has long been considered an important business and relationship-building sport, and participating in group instruction allows women to connect with others who share similar interests in health, recreation, and personal development. The supportive group atmosphere often helps eliminate the intimidation some beginners may feel when first entering the game.

The clinics can also contribute to improved wellness and stress reduction. Walking the course, practicing outdoors, and engaging in social interaction can have positive benefits for both physical and mental health. Many participants discover that golf becomes a relaxing lifelong activity they can enjoy with friends, family, and colleagues.

Hosting the clinics at Texas 9 Golf Course adds another important dimension to the experience. Texas 9 Golf is a public executive course known for its beginner-friendly environment and excellent practice facilities. Located in Fort Worth, the course was designed to make golf more accessible and approachable for players of all skill levels. Its layout allows new golfers to learn the game in a less intimidating setting while still offering opportunities to develop competitive skills.

The facility includes practice greens, driving areas, and instructional spaces that make it ideal for teaching clinics and player development programs. Texas 9 Golf has become a valuable community resource for introducing new players to the game while supporting local golf growth initiatives.

Coach Gladys Lee’s women’s golf clinics continue to reflect her commitment to inclusion, education, and empowerment through golf. By creating a welcoming atmosphere where women can learn, improve, and connect, the clinics are helping expand participation in the sport while inspiring a new generation of golfers in the Fort Worth community.
