Victorian Nathan Holman has won the Australian PGA Championship in a dramatic finish at RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast, December 6, 2015.  Tournament play began on December 3 with a purse of $1,750,000.

The international contingent is feeling right at home on the Gold Coast with the top-three positions on the Australian PGA Championship leaderboard filled by visiting Professionals.  A trio of internationals led the Australian PGA Championship into the final round.

Co-sanctioned by the European Tour a strong contingent of players from the continent and South Africa has headed down under hoping to snare Australia’s richest golf tournament.

However it was American Harold Varner III who has captured the attention of Aussie golf fans with his big hitting style, fun loving personality and honest opinions.

Varner fired 6-under 66 to jump up the top of the leaderboard and be tied for the lead on 3-under the card.

Joining him are South African friends Dylan Frittelli and Zander Lombard who each fired 1-under 71 today.
