The Inaugural Youth Golf Experience, presented by the Las Vegas City Council and Ward 5 Councilman Cedric Crear, took place on Saturday, June 10 at the Las Vegas Golf Club in Las Vegas, NV. The event aimed to provide youth aged 7 to 17 with an opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of golf with the guidance of instructors and professionals.

The day began with check-in at 8:00 a.m. followed by a light breakfast and golf instruction. The youth then enjoyed lunch and a special keynote speech delivered by LPGA Teaching Professional Ms. Avis Brown-Riley. Afterward, range time and raffles delighted the young guests. This free event provided an excellent introduction to the game of golf for the participants.

The Inaugural Youth Golf Experience was made possible through the generous support and sponsorship of various organizations, including the UNLV PGA University Program, Southern Nevada Golf Association, Southern Nevada Jr. Golf Association, Harrah College of Hospitality, and the City of Las Vegas, Nevada.
