Jodi-Ann Tillman, an attorney in Shutts & Bowen LLP’s Fort Lauderdale office, was recently appointed to the First Tee – Broward Board of Directors, a chapter of First Tee Florida Gulf Coast.
Founded in 2003, First Tee – Broward has spent years helping youth, special needs, and veteran participants develop confidence and life skills through the game of golf. First Tee – Broward has partnered with other organizations including, Boys and Girls Clubs, H.A.N.D.Y., Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, The Crockett Foundation, YMCA, and Mission United to expand on its chapter mission and programs.
First Tee’s program is already implemented in over 40 Broward elementary schools, furthering organization’s goal to teach young people and veterans the game of golf and the Nine Core Values.
First Tee – Broward was founded in 2003 as one of the early chapters in Florida. Over the years, the chapter has reached thousands of participants and partnered with various youth development organizations such as Boys and Girls Clubs, H.A.N.D.Y., Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, The Crockett Foundation, YMCA, Mission United. We also partner with area golf courses to offer programming in all areas of Broward County.
