Kinderlou Forest Golf Course in Valdosta, Georgia, was the site of the June 1-2 IGTA Tour South Georgia Classic.  The year the IGTA Tour is is made up of four series – one for each season.

Exempt Tour Cards became available at the beginning of the year with discounts for each series with conditional Tour Cards available for individual events.

The IGTA Tour is in its 19th year and is known as America’s Pro Net Tour with more than $4,900,000 paid players.   To date, the Tour has arranged over 360 consecutive tournaments, paying at least $4,000.00 in First Prize monies.

The IGTA Tour welcomes golfers to participate in a National Golf Tour with all serious competitive golfers in mind. Many Tour Players from Web.com, Latin American Tour, NGA(Swing Thought), Egolf, Moonlight, Minor League and other fine Tours have found IGTA provides a competition to improve their game on great courses. It also provides the opportunity to win some nice prize money, on Week ends, to supplement their finances for other events on their schedule.

Also, many scratch golfers, former scratch golfers, Seniors and Pre-Seniors don’t have many Competitive Tournaments available. Players who are competitive and carry a handicap now have the opportunity to experience quality tournaments with high ranking players.

For the IGATA Tour, all new players are able to register for their first tournament (in advance) at a reduced rate of $395.00

They may then play for 1/2 the prize list.

The balance of the prize then goes toward the Points Championship Fund.

For the IGATA Tour range finders, GPS systems, etc are allowed under a local rule, per USGA Rules.
The Top Thirty in the Points Championship will play for the IGTA CUP in 2019.

According to the IGTA website’s special notice – 2019 will have Special 1 Day Qualifier Tournaments.  To qualify for the larger events and half points will be earned. 2019 will also include an IGTA Cup Championship.  Similar to the Fedex Cup, the 2019 Points Championship will include the Top 30 Players in points and should generate a $12,000.00 First Prize.
