Thanks to a generous $12,500 contribution through the Astros Golf Foundation’s Birdies for Charity, the Lone Star Golf Association will be able to promote and introduce golf to communities and demographics such as women, elementary-aged school children, middle and high school-aged juniors, and seniors.

Birdies for Charity®, presented by THINK Neurology for Kids is a fundraising program designed to give local charities the opportunity to generate contributions through the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open. 100% of donations to the program go directly to the charity of your choice. The Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open will also award the top fifteen donation-collecting charities and four randomly drawn charities with an additional bonus.

The Lone Star Association, established in 1946, is a 501(c)(3) organization located in Houston, Texas. The organization promotes the game of golf through its Jr Golf and Scholarship Program. For more information visit
