New Couples Clinic to Begin at Golf Club of Dallas

Attention all golf-loving couples! If you’re looking for a new way to bond with your significant other, the Golf Club of Dallas has just announced a new Couples Clinic that is set to begin on April 2nd. Led by Coach Gladys Lee, a LPGA Class A Coach/Instructor, this clinic is the perfect opportunity for couples to improve their golf game while spending quality time together.

The clinic will take place at the Golf Club of Dallas from 2:00 – 4:00 pm, located at 2200 West Red Bird Lane, Dallas, Texas 75232. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced golfer, Coach Gladys Lee will work with you and your partner to improve your skills and technique on the course.

The Golf Club of Dallas is owned by African American Pastor and Thought Leader, Dr. Tony Evans. The club has a rich history in the world of golf, having hosted the Byron Nelson Classic in the 1950s and it has welcomed legendary players such as Sam Snead, Julius Boros, and Bert Yancey, who have all left their mark on the course. However, the club is not just focused on its past, but also on its future. They strive to provide the best possible golfing experience for all their members and guests.

Coach Gladys Lee is excited about leading the upcoming New Couples Clinic as she has just wrapped-up her #5 Women’s Golf Session at Arlington Golf Center on March 18. The “happy, fun, and positive” session, along with a March 26 session, will concludes six weeks of intensive learning that included putting, chipping,  pitching, half-swing, full-swing, etiquette and basic rules. 

Participants of the session are urged to put their skills together and take them to the Texas Golf Center for a fun Team Scramble at 8940 Creek Run Rd., Ft. Worth Tx 76120. Assigned teams are:

Team # 1
1. Dr. Sheron Patterson,Teresa Kidd, Sara Davis, Lisa Taylor 

Team # 2
Royalyn Reid, Gloria Todd, Gloria Reynolds, Faith Smith 

Team # 3
Jennifer Johnson, Hashima Charles, Charlene Gregoire, Carol Wise 

Coach Lee was thrilled with the attendees and said in a follow-up note, “Ladies thank all of you for the opportunity to introduce you to golf,  and go on this journey with you! Remember, Golf Is something everyone can learn to play and enjoy at any age, gender, race, culture, economic status, physical challenge or religious background.

Ms. Lee has a long and respected career in golf, entering the industry in 1986, she has developed curricula inclusive of golf training and life skills for multi-ethnic children while contributing her talents, abilities and service to organizations, corporations, and non-profits for decades. Tiger Woods recognized Lee’s Roaring Lambs organization as one of the Top Junior Golf Programs in the U.S.A., which led to being featured on the NBC Tom Brokaw segment of “Making a Difference”.
