Ronnie Lott’s First Annual “Drive to Survive” Charity Dinner

On a beautiful Southern California April 10th Sunday, amidst the beautiful backdrop of the San Gabriel Mountains, The Castaway set the scene for Ronnie Lott’s First Annual “Drive to Survive” Charity Dinner to benefit Eric’s Vision. Inaugural Glow Golf Forum on African American Women and Diversity in the Golf Industry 

In an effort to foster the growth of African American female participation and diversity in the multi-billion dollar golf industry, the PGA Education Center, at PGA Village, in Port St. Lucie, Fla., played host in October to Glow Golf’s inaugural forum and golf event entitled, “Rethink Your Possibilities: Breaking the Grass Ceiling,” (Above: L-R) Charlie Jackson, Joe Sterenka and

The program was designed to champion and increase participation in golf by African American female professionals, the event featured a keynote address by PGA of America Chief Executive Officer Joe Steranka to an audience of corporate executives, entrepreneurs and diversity experts.(Read the Fall 2010 wrap-up issue.)

Trevor Anderson, CSCS, CGFI, Head of Golf Performance/ Performance Specialist – IMG Performance Institute, Bradenton, FL with Ginger Howard. Anderson is a highly recommended physical conditioning and golf performance coach. ” Our main goal is to get “BETTER EVERY DAY”, knowing that when we accomplish that, that we are closer to all of our goals as a team,” he says. Anderson manufactures the entire physical training curriculum for all of our 180 IMG academy golfers.

This creative group held their 9th annual tournamnent on October 11 at the Palmer Course, The Woodlands, TX, was a spectacular day of energy, honor and celebration.
