The TaylorMade Junior Open is set to take place at The Courses at Watters Creek in Plano, Texas, on April 5-6, 2025. This prestigious tournament is ranked by several prominent golf organizations, including the AJGA PBE, GolfWeek, Junior Golf Scoreboard, and Global Junior Golf, making it a must-attend event for aspiring junior golfers.
Participants will compete on the renowned Traditions course, showcasing their skills and vying for coveted spots in prestigious qualifying events. This tournament serves as a gateway to several elite junior golf championships:
• Uswing Mojing Junior World Championship: Champions from each age division will qualify for the Uswing Mojing Junior World Event (formerly the IMG Academy Junior World) in California.
• Future Champions Golf Junior World Championship: Age division champions will secure their spots in the FCG Junior World Event, also held in California.
• Optimist International Championship: Participants can earn qualification to the Optimist International Championship, hosted in Florida, through the TEXHOMA regional event.
• Notah Begay III Junior Golf National Championship: Regional event qualifiers will have the chance to compete in this prestigious national championship.
