Renegade Golf’s “Fore The Culture Golf Outing”

by AAGD Staff

On Monday, April 15, at Laurel Springs Country Club in Duluth, GA, Renegade Golf extends an invitation to the public for their “Fore The Culture Golf Outing.” The Atlanta-based company, founded in 2019, holds the distinction of being the first-ever Black-owned golf equipment company to achieve conformance to the Rules of Golf established by the United States Golf Association (USGA) for its Renegade Mbu premium line of golf balls.

“As they grow and build the brand, Renegade Golf is exposed to highly driven, talented, and accomplished junior golfers who ultimately will carry the mantle as the ambassadors for this great game,” affirms CEO Kenneth Duncan on the company’s website. Golf tournament proceeds are earmarked to benefit Junior Golfers of Team Renegade.

Tee time commences at 8:30 a.m., with fees set at $300 for individual players and $500 per team. Tickets for the Block Party (12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.) are priced at $50 per person. Renegade Golf named their preeminent golf ball after an Igbo (Nigerian) word meaning “first” as an homage to its cultural roots.
