Jim Beatty, organizer of the African American Golf EXPO and Forum announced today that Save Legs. Change Lives.™ will be a participant offering free screening to EXPO attendees.
Save Legs. Change Lives.™, Spot Peripheral Artery Disease Now is an initiative to raise awareness about this serious condition and encourage screening to make sure it does not go undiagnosed

Change Lives.™ is part of Johnson & Johnson’s broader initiative—Our Race to Health Equity (ORTHE)—a $100 million commitment to help eradicate racial and social injustice as a public health threat. Black Americans have the highest risk for PAD and are more likely to develop the condition. Through Save Legs. As an example, a partner is the American Association of Black Cardiologists whose mission is to promote the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease including stroke in Blacks and other minorities to achieve Health equity for all through the elimination of disparities.
