Scottie Scheffler Wins Player’s Championship, while Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association is Transforming Lives

by John Perry

Looks like Scottie Scheffler is a lock to wrap-up the winners share of this year’s Player’s Championship.  The richest purse on the PGA Tour, therefore those who are fighting for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place still has plenty at stake to play for.  2nd place alone pays over $2 million dollars.

I don’t like to get too ahead of myself with plenty of golf left at TPC Sawgrasss, but number two player in the world Scottie Scheffler is more than a confident front runner.  Like Yogi Berra used to say, “it ain’t over, til it’s over,” but it’s over, trust me.

Congratulations to Scottie Scheffler in advance for playing an amazing four rounds of golf, on a very tough golf course.
Now it’s on to Augusta to defend his title from 2022.  I, for one, wouldn’t be surprised if he repeats.  He’s just that good.  No brag, just facts.

Orlando Minority Youth Golf Association (OMYGA)

The OMYGA has served the community since 1991. Its mission is to acquaint inner city and urban minority youth with the sport of golf in order that they may reap the rewards of the game. These rewards enhance character. It all began in September 1991, following a successful and encouraging meeting between concerned citizens; T.J. Dorsey, DDS, Marvin Jackson, Prevention Coordinator for the Center for Drug and Free Living and the Director of Recreation for the City of Orlando, Don Wilson.
