After much rain in St. Louis on Saturday, the 100th PGA Championship leaderboard will again start its postings on Sunday. The downpour suspended play, drenched fans, and washed out many of the championship rounds.  Today (Sunday, August 12) the weather forecast calls for clear skies so the competition is back on track, as players tee up in twosomes for the final round of this major championship. If all goes well, and the pace of play is maintained, the tournament should finish around 7 p.m. (ET) on the CBS network. With players under intense watch, things tend to slow down a bit, but four hours is enough time for the experienced players who are broken up into twosome groups.

As usual, when Tiger Woods is in the hunt, eyes will be squarely on him, watching his every shot. Woods is in the thrid-to-last group, paired with Gary Woodland. These two were also paired last week at The Open Championship. Tiger Woods has a later tee time today, 2:35 p.m. ET, and he does have a chance to win. Although he’s not a roaring sensation on the greens, right now, there is the opportunity for him to walk away with the trophy.

The entire afternoon list of players is packed with solid hitters.  Although the course is said by some to not be an ideal venue for this type of championship, the leaderboard is full of superstars will have the last say.
