In a follow-up to the article on the alleged assault of Black golfer, Minister Marc Coleman by white golfer Wesley Caldwell, AAGD conducted a video interview in early January with NAACP Memphis Chapter President Van D. Turner Jr., Esq. Turner’s organization is calling for an attempted murder inquiry and the victim’s family slams the ‘low’ $5,000 bail.

Memphis police say Wesley Caldwell, 22, of Nesbit, Mississippi struck Marc Coleman in the head with his club on December 3. The incident at the Links at Whitehaven course allegedly began with Caldwell becoming angry with Coleman hitting a ball onto his hole.
