TIS’ THE SEASON
AND IT TIS’ THE TIME TO SHARE

“What To Buy Your Golfer
This Holiday Season”

Once in a while I enjoy sharing valuable information, with family, friends, golfers, and non-golfers. As a blogger, I receive – via the media – as well as from other reliable sources, great tips that I know will be valued, and appreciated by my readers. At the end of the day, my job and my commitment to you is to keep you informed, and hopefully help make your day as stress free as humanly possible.

I will be willing to bet that today, at this very moment you are pondering on what Christmas presents to get for your golfers.

Thinking of what presents to buy for the holidays can be just as stressful as the actual purchasing process. One of the best things to get someone, though, is new golf gear. If they aren’t much of a golfer, it’s a great chance for them to start. if they are a casual golfer, this information that I am sharing will help get them back on the course and enjoy their free time. I know for a fact it would and has encourage me.

There are plenty of great gifts to buy your golfer that can help him/her improve his/her game. Getting them something involved with golf will increase their motivation to get out on the course and to practice as well. Here are some suggested gifts that perhaps your golfers will love to receive this holiday season.

Golf Club Covers

New golf covers can make people feel much more confident as a golfer. The covers don’t actually help their game, but they help them look better. and build confidence, and in turn help them play better. Get covers of their favorite sports team, animal, drink or color.

New Clubs

This is the ultimate gift for any golfer. Even if they don’t “Need” a new complete set, getting an extra iron, a new putter or a better driver will certainly make any golfer’s holiday a memorable one. Find out which clubs they need or would like, and this would make a perfect gift.

Chocolate Golf Balls

This is a fun gift for chocolate loving golfers, that is a perfect fit for the holidays. These are inexpensive, tasty and it can be funny to see the golfer’s reaction when they realize what they received. Just recently I attended a birthday party for a golfer friend of mine, and one of his gifts was this exactly suggestion, which is probably the reason I thought of it, Chocolate golf balls with white tee’s attached. Trust me it was a big hit, and a perfect gift.

Real Golf Balls

Agreed that the chocolate golf balls, are a great inexpensive gift, however an avid golfer would appreciate more getting a new set of real golf balls. You can find out what the strengths of your golfers are, and get him/her a set that will play to those strengths. Getting name brand golf balls is always a plus, however from personal experience, I learned that most avid golfers have their preferences as to the brand. About 3 years ago I purchased golf balls for a friend of mine who I knew particularly liked Titleist, so that’s what he got. It was a fathers day gift so I had his name and a statement that said “# 1 Father” engraved on each ball, he smiled from ear to ear.

Golf clothes

New golf swag is a sure way to get your golfer, off the sofa, and out on the course to show off their new threads again I say, find out their favorite brand and color, or things that color-coordinate with their clothes, their golf bags, golf covers, or golf clubs.

Golf Bags

Your golfer is going to need a place to store all the golf stuff you’re getting them for the holidays, right? Getting them a golf bag is exactly what they need. Get them a bag that matches the brand of the clubs and/or golf balls that you just purchased them.

To be absolutely honest my friends, as to how I feel about all this, is that there are plenty of things that your golfer would love to receive this holiday season. Getting them anything related to golf is a good idea, whether it’s something they didn’t have before, or an upgrade on some old equipment.

Most importantly, is to make sure to get your golfer not only what they need but what they want. For those of you that wait until the last minute, like the day before Xmas to do your holiday shopping, and if everything else fails, get a Gift Card from their favorite golf store/shop, and call it a day.
