Girls on the Green Tee (GOTGT) is a golf mentoring program designed by the Tampa, Florida-based Women of Color Golf (WOCG) for girls ages 10 – 17, to introduce young girls to the game of golf and to provide leadership development, self-esteem, confidence, respect, honesty, responsibility, and healthy habits experiences, through the game of golf.
The goal of the organization is to create a fun learning environment and to spark interest and inspiration in learning the game of golf, facilitating mentorship opportunities along the way. This inspiration is then turned into action by connecting the motivated girls to mentors in our golf and business community through various golf activities and events.
