As we celebrate the joy and wonder of the holidays and prepare for 2025 to come to a close, I wanted to take a few minutes to share how remarkable a year it has been for Golf. My Future. My Game. and the 250 + young people participating in our (5) five programs.

Through the investment of our many supporters, our mission continues to be strong enabling us to impact the lives of numerous young people in the Washington DC metropolitan area and communities around the country.

2025 HIGHLIGHTS 

  • One of Seventy Organizations across the U.S. selected to receive Funding through the Make Golf Your Thing Grassroots Grants Program recognizing our work to engage and make the game accessible to Underrepresented Communities
  • As Co-Chair of the HBCU Golf Consortium I Presented at the 2025 PGA Show’s Diversity Roundtable on our work. HBCU Golf Consortium schools include: Delaware State University; University of Maryland Eastern Shore; Virginia State University; Benedict College; Bennett College; Florida A & M University; Bethune Cookman University; Alabama State University ; Paul Quinn College and Texas Southern University.  
  • Hosted with HBCU Co-Chair Dr. Michael Cooper a Golf memorable experience for 30 Benedict College students to Pinehurst, North Carolina The American Golf Industry Coalition, Make Golf Your Career And Benedict College Connect in Pinehurst, NC – African American Golfer’s Digest
  • Invited to participate at the LIV Golf Tournaments LIV GREEN activation experience @ The Robert Trent Jones Golf Club in Gainesville, Virginia to create and share investment in climate-related research and technology, enabling the golf industry to reduce its impact on the planet while exploring innovative ways and new methods and technologies for golf sustainability aligned with our Fauna, Flora & Fun, Nature’s Guide Program. 
  • Recognized by LIV Golf as a collaborative partner at the LIV Golf Michigan Team Championship held at The Cardinal @ St. John’s Resort in Plymouth, Michigan.  
  • Washington, D.C. youth participant Aaliyah Shabazz nominated and  selected as 2025 Congaree Global Golf Initiative (CGGI) scholarship recipient www.Congareefoundation.org
  • 250 + youth are taking advantage of our Golf, Who Knew? programs successfully operating in Washington, D.C; Detroit, Michigan; Dayton, Ohio; Montgomery, Alabama;  and Durham, North Carolina.  In Spring 2026 we will begin programming in Itta Bena & Greenwood, Mississippi. 
  • Partnered with Michael Barrett (Lincoln Financial Advisor) Tom Gallant (Ameriprise Financial Advisor) and the Grant Cardone Foundation to incorporate golf education and financial literacy aligned with our Learn & Earn program. 

2025 has been a great year!

2026 has much on the horizon as we are creating a program series titled, The Business of Golf which will be held on the campus of Mississippi Valley State University And we look forward to growing our Golf, Who Knew? programs in other cities across the country.
