Tiger Woods has returned to Florida after reportedly spending several weeks at a rehabilitation facility in Zurich, Switzerland, following his March DUI arrest on Jupiter Island. Recent photos showed Woods arriving at Palm Beach International Airport wearing sunglasses, a black cap, and a supportive sleeve on his right leg as he exited his private jet.
The 50-year-old golf star entered treatment shortly after the rollover crash that led to misdemeanor DUI charges and renewed concerns about his health and recovery. Authorities said Woods’ SUV overturned after colliding with a truck and trailer while traveling at a high speed on a residential road near his home. Although he passed a breathalyzer test, deputies reported signs of impairment and discovered prescription pain medication in his possession. Woods also refused a urine test at the scene. Â
Sources close to Woods said the rehabilitation program focused on both physical recovery and psychological treatment, including pain management alternatives that did not rely on opioids. The golfer has reportedly remained mostly out of public view during his treatment while continuing to deal with lingering injuries from previous surgeries and past car crashes. Â
Woods is still facing ongoing legal proceedings connected to the March incident. A Florida judge recently approved prosecutors’ request to review portions of his prescription medication records as part of the investigation. His legal team has pleaded not guilty to the charges, and the records are expected to remain sealed from public release. Â
